Moscow Gnessin Special School (college) of Music employs the leading Russian teachers: professors of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music, Honored Artists of the Russian Federation, Honoured Cultural Workers of the Russian Federation, individuals with Masters degree and Ph.D. in History of Arts; many of them are graduates of our school.

The activity of Moscow Gnessin Special School (college) of Music plays a significant role in the formation of a picture of modern art of performance. More than 2000 school graduates are the winners of the most prestigious international performers’ contests, nominees and winners of Grammy Awards, professors of European conservatories and heads of music departments of the universities of European, American, and South-East Asian countries, accompanists and soloists of the leading symphonic and chamber orchestras of the world, heads of music festivals, agencies, schools, and educational centers of all continents. The “Gnessin ten-year school” brought up world-famous musicians and cultural figures of the Russian Federation, such as Natalia Shakhovskaya and Viktor Pikaizen, Karine Georgian and David Tukhmanov, Aleksandr Ivashkin and Ivan Monigetti, Aleksandr Rudin, Aleksandr Kniazev, Boris Berezovskiy, Evgeniy Kissin, Konstantin Lifshits, Daniil Trifonov, and many others.

For the purpose of bringing up new generations, the school offers a broad spectrum of concert and education-enlightenment programs.
